Welcome to Medrwn | a people development programme providing free or highly subsidised training tailored to local tourism needs.


	MEDRWN translated means *WE CAN, and our strap-line is "WE CAN...DEVELOP YOU – MEDRWN...eich datblygu"*.

The programme is concentrating on the training and development of tourism businesses in the Objective 1 and 3 areas of Mid Wales, Ceredigion, Meirionnydd and Powys.

Our experienced facilitators will deliver Medrwn, working with local businesses at grass roots level to identify individual training needs for employers and employees. We will engage with all individuals on an equal basis including those with special requests eg; training through the medium of welsh, disabled access or crèche facilities.

Medrwn aims to provide flexible and accessible training to up skill the workforce by developing courses, workshops, seminars, events and familiarisation trips, encouraging networking and sharing best practise.

All this may be well and good but what will it cost you?
Medrwn will fund programme activities 100% where possible or at a highly subsidised rate. We do have a budget and need to work with this but each course or event is assessed on its own merit. Where we are unable to help, Medrwn will signpost to other appropriate programmes and assistance.

Medrwn is a great opportunity to work with business of all kinds within the area. Tourism affects a wide range of businesses from local shops, garages and leisure centers, as well as traditional accommodation providers, attractions and activity providers. Medrwn aims to assist all these businesses to access assistance through the programme, and will deliver training in a flexible and innovative way.
